Workshop Foreman Vacancy
Purpose of the job
To direct and manage the efficient functioning of the workshop in its entirety. Inclusive of workshop employees, project management and time management. To ensure the workshop department runs at a profit.
Key areas of responsibility
- Ensure the day to day effective management of the Workshop floor
- Ensure the effective and efficient administrative management and customer service delivery / liaison
- Ensure and adhere to Health and Safety Standards, as well as ISO Standards
- Protect and manage the company machinery and tools
- Ensure effective Human Capital Management of all Workshop staff
Knowledge and skills needed for the job
Minimum Required Education | Grade 12 / Agricultural Matric |
Advantageous | Project Management Certificate/ Diploma and/or
Industry Related Experience and Health & Safety |
Related experience | 3-5 years: Parts Control/ Ordering/ Stock
3-5 years: Human Capital management 3-5 years: Technical Experience/ Mechanic 5 years: Product Knowledge in Agricultural Mechanisation |
